Welcome to 1963 - One of the finest examples of pre Jamie Oliver / Gordon Ramsay old school cooking ever. This place is amazing, the cafe that time forgot. Eccentric regulars, friendly waitress - always the same regulars and waitress whenever you visit. Comfort food - excellent roasts , meat and two veg, delicious homemade chips, generous portions, cold orange squash for 50p - ice cream and jelly for pudding. They make a big deal about not doing breakfast - don't ask for toast. A good place to go when it's rainning outside, you can feel comfortable eating alone. A meal will cost no more than £6. It's the best old school resturant in London.
