unpleasant - Really disappointed by the Hair salon at Minikin. We've been twice and both times were kept waiting 30 minutes after our appointment time. When I pointed this out to the hairdresser (who had clearly let a friend jump the queue in our place) she told me that she might not even be able to fit us in (in a passive aggressive kind of way). We did get a haircut, but I left feeling really truly disappointed by the service and the nature of the staff. This is a children's hair salon after all. Expensive, unreliable, unprofessional and unapologetic. Don't bother.

Huge disappointment - We took our 1 year old son here for a haircut and we were left bitterly disappointed with the result. Firstly i was taked aback to find that the ” Experienced Stylist” we were promised was not much more than a child herself and clearly had no experience in dealing with very young children. We had let his hair grow a bit so that it could be styled for his upcoming christening and my wife had a clear idea what she wanted done, nothing elaborate just a trim to tidy it up and keep the nice wavy length. She explained this to “stylist” who appeared to understand. Cut a long story short (no pun intended) she completely botched the haircut leaving his fringe over an inch above his brow line and an inch above his neck line at the back just like you put a bowl on his and cut around it only if she used a bowl it would be straight at least. We also found the whole experience completely rushed being reminded by the staff we only had 15 minutes. The only part they got right was charging £15.95 to my visa without even asking were we happy or saying thanks. All in all adreadful experience, I could not in all honesty recommend this place to anybody.

it's a godsend - Where else can I go where my children are able to have their hair cut by great hairdressers and which allows me to walk around the shop filled with fantastic gifts,soft toys and clothes. It always a joy to come here, not only do the children get excited, so do I!!!
