The Blue Door is a Swedish shop located down an alley off Church Road. They sell decorative antiques and copies of Swedish chairs, lamps and mirrors and have a workshop where you can choose the colour and finish of your product. They also sell rugs as well as materials by the meter, quilts, and books which are all inspired by the Swedish culture. In the courtyard they have decorative garden items such as pots, wire frames and tables.

Blue Door is a closed Door! - This shop was absolutely beautiful. So inspiring..ideal home ideas.

Sadly , I discovered today, it has closed down as, according to locals
the lady who owned the shop and who was 72 quite understandably decided to retire.
I must confess that I was really, really sad to discover this.

It would be absolutely wonderful to meet this lady, I imagine even buying the business from her though it is no longer.
Surely this could somewhat be done in some other location...

I wonder if she can read this,and if so I ask her to kindly write back on :
