Tacky old fashioned - This pub is rubbish. I was having a drink with my wife. We had been 15 minutes with wine and a pint sitting by the fire. The nasty little landlord passed by,obviously swaying, saying "if you must hog the fire at least drink more"! There was nobody else in the room! Old outdated landlords like this should retire. This is a chain pub based in Devon. I wrote a complaint and I did not get a reply. The place is tacky. We expect better in this area than this rubbish. 06-07-10

Chill out and watch sports - This place is quite big, and very relaxed. Nothing fussy about it, despite it being in Bayswater. There are a few screens which were showing the obligatory Sky Sports when we went on a Sunday afternoon. The food is so-so, but the staff are pleasant. I'd definitely go there again if I was after some drinks. 16-04-09
