The risotto spot - I stopped in for a quick lunch here today (using the TopTable 2 for 1 main courses offer which I think is also available on their website – although do take proof to avoid arguing with the staff to get your discount). It’s a pretty good lunch spot – light, airy canteen style.

The risotto is good – although I must say I was expecting a more exciting menu for somewhere that specialises in the stuff (also, you don’t get very many meatballs in the rather bizarre, but I have it tasty, meatball risotto).

I wish you could ask for a smaller portions because risotto can be quite heavy and I did spend the rest of the day feeling like a bloated whale, but maybe that’s because I found space for apple crumbles (with btw were yummy).

Overall good. Definitely check their website for offers and on a Fri it’s probably a good idea to book.

Rice-tastic! - Good value lunch express menu. Nice selection for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Service was attentive. We seemed to have had a mishap with our order, but were compensated with some nice fried calamari and apologies. The risotto was very good - I tried the calamari with rocket and tomatoes. Yum!

Rice heaven! - This came highly recommended by a friend, and she wasn't wrong! Delicious risotto and lots of choice to suit everyone. Good atmosphere and modern decor - appears to be a regular haunt for the locals and I can see why. Not a great selection of beers (2 i think) but its the food that's all important! Can't wait to go back....
