Tennis, bowling and famous faces - I really don't know how I got there. The place is far from my interests as it's prestigious and overloaded with good manners, good labels, good perfumes, famous faces and tennis courts, of course. Don't get me wrong- I didn't have anything against elite but I didn't feel comfortable with that sort of people and didn't know anything about tennis either...
Anyway, let's come back to the club and sport. Paddington Bowling and Sports Club was founded in 1905 and used to be one of the biggest tennis clubs in UK. It's quite difficult to find it (the west side of Castellan Road) but as soon as you reach the place, you can enjoy tennis, squash, bowls and fitness. There are at least 10 courts, an indoor bowls pavilion, claimed to be the largest in the country, club shop and a bar. I don't know anything about prices and can only reckon that they aren't small.
I had a nice cup of tea there and I was pretending to know something about tennis and other games. If you play or at least if you have good manners, the club may be a quite interesting place for you.
