PizzaExpress has expanded enormously over the years and now has a staggering number of outlets. The simple menu and kitchen concept has retained its freshly made ideal and you can still watch your pizza being prepared for you.

What I expected - It was as it usually is, you get your pizza and it tastes good. They managed to get the order right so that is always a bonus.
Also used a taste card so got 2 for the price of 1 so a bit of a bargain.

Good for mums - Pizza express wouldn't be my first port of call for pizza in Shoreditch - there are plenty of other places offering better and perhaps cheaper pizzas but my mum loves pizza express so we go here every now and again.
It's pretty standard - I mean it's a pizza express right? It has nice floor to ceiling glass windows so you can look out onto the rat race scurrying onto the tube. The staff are friendly and the pizzas a good. Not much else to say - it's a pizza express and most of us go here because it's always the same but yeah a good place to take your mum or if you need to be by Liverpool St there's not much better closer.
