Dim T London Reviews

Nowt special - I've been here for lunch a couple of times now as I work round the corner. You can usually be seated quite quickly and you can have a lunch for about £10/15 which as a treat lunch is A-ok. Although if there are a lot of you, I'd probably book.

Foodwise- it's not that great. Everything tastes a bit samey - that weird sort of packet taste that soups have because they all use the same stock or that a lot of innocent smoothies have because they all have the same base. I don't know if that makes sense, but that's the best analogy I can think of at the moment.

I've had dim sum, gyoza and noodles there and the above sentiment applies to all three.

On a disappointing note they had some exciting sounding juices - lychee lemonade and the like - which came out of cartons.

Yum T - GREAT! I haven't had the chance much to explore, and i am a great fan of Ping Pong so this was perfect. The veggie dishes were tastey and interesting. The service was fine nothing exceptional. The only issue that i have was with the tables being really close together, but it was lunchtime on a friday.

I will be returning here, its a great little place to go.

Adaptation - Moderate price for moderate service in a moderate place for moderate adaptation of Dim Sum cuisine.

My main problem is that almost all fillings taste the same. You could just about distinguish when its seafood and when its not, but other than that i fear its a bit over processed. The service could be better as well. Don't go for set menus, do order 3-4 servings of Dim Sum, but be selective.
The other day, had a first go at making my own pork buns. I am not a pro, but i swear it came out better than in this place ;)
