Fast food for the socially-aware - Being a closet lover of all things junk (I say closet; my waistline can't really keep a secret), imagine my joy when I discovered Posh Burger - or Fine Burger Co as it's officially known.

I could wax lyrical about how organic and earth-responsible FBC is; I'm sure they sing lullabies to the cows and caress the lettuce daily before it makes its way to my plate, but the truth is that I'm glad I can feed my evil side without the guilt of walking into McD's to make it happen.

For a little bit more money, you can have burgers made from freshly baked baps (ciabatta-like) flavoursome beef so chunky and sweet, it's a delight to sink your teeth into with all manner of toppings and veg (like I said, tenderly caressed every night to bring them to their full potential). And the chunky chips are ace too!

So now thanks to FBC, I don't need to wish for bad things to happen to my hosts when I'm munching on a celery stick with a growly tummy at a dinner party and someone is saying how bad junk food is for you. I can just close my eyes and imagine the taste sensation of thick, juicy burgers and...dang it, where's my coat? I'm off to get one now!
