Que tal? - As far a concept goes Solea has got it right. A small place but one that's full of character that packs it out almost every night of the week.

First of all, as I mentioned, is the size. There are only about 8 or nine tables (plus space to sit at the counter, a garden, and a basement room that can be hired) but that means even if you're the only ones in there (highly unlikely given its popularity) it won't feel like a cavern.

Next comes the food... a lot of tapas classics like tortilla and all the charcuteria (jamon serrano and chorizo etc) but also a few less usual ones like salmorejo, a thick emulsion of tomato, olive oil and garlic which comes with lovely fresh bread to dip in it.

Solea also features live music throughout the week, including Flamenco which guarantees standing to any late comers, so be sure to call for details and book 13-12-07
