Now this gastro design pub offers a relaxed, cosy atmosphere where you can enjoy a good selection of beers and ales in the bar or sample the innovative yet simple, rustic British-European menu in the stylish restaurant. To accompany your meal there is an extensive, imaginative wine list. This great new pub offers amazing value with dinner for two including wine at around £65.00 (including service).

Great revival - It's been a long time since I was last here, and I'd been keeping an eye on the makeover works. Curiosity got the better of me, and Her Imperial Majesty and I popped in last week to give it a try. As well as receiving a friendly welcome from Michael, I was impressed by the decor and the atmosphere. The menu was interesting and I liked the idea of not having a 'structured' starter or main course. I look forward to working my way through the menu... We tried the Rioja Muriel, which was excellent value (and a very tasty wine from an interesting looking list). Definitely a thumbs-up for the area! 26-09-07

Duke is now Duke of Sussex - Stumbled across the new Duke of Sussex yesterday and had a great meal in the garden with a friend. Its a really nice spot and now probably one of the best options for an informal meal in Chiswick. 17-09-07
