Best tunes in the hood - Located under a motorway with concrete walls the club is as far away from a glamorous, palm tree lined, up-market place as it can get. Somehow it always rains when you come out. But the unpretentious look extends to the crowd and the music being played. People go there for the music, it's more like the local pub than a Gordon Ramsay, interiors are stripped down, nice Funktion One speakers, sometimes too loud (take some earprotectors with you, uncool but useful) and funnily there is a little Adolf Hitler in the gentlemens who takes care of order and behaviour (!), which somehow adds to the `a bit rough` atmosphere. Look out for Blowin East, Maniche and Georgia Girl playing one of the best deep and soulful house in town. Nights also end at a manageable 2 or 3ish, so it does not consume your whole weekend if you decide to give it a go. 03-08-07
