Ping Pong's first restaurant opened in London's Soho, architect David Marquardt and brand designer Niclas Sellebršten having developed an interior architecture and style that is contemporary yet respectful of the traditions of dim sum cuisine. Combining a sense of relaxed order with warmth and comfort, the restaurant possesses its own distinctive atmosphere, yet at the same time defines the ideal of the modern dim sum restaurant everywhere. There are now several branches across London.

Ping Pong Dim Sum London Reviews

Tip Top Dim Sum - I went here on Monday evening after work with some colleagues. I was surprised how busy it was for a Monday - it must get rammed later on in the week. The cocktails were amazing - and the food was really good too, but very expensive for what it was.

Swish & fun!! - Tried Ping Pong in Spitalfields recently and loved everything about my visit here. I was surprised by how stylish the place was with its round tables, low level seating and soft lighting. Very welcoming and the staff were extremely polite too. Huge menu choice and we were really spoilt but settled on around 8 dishes for the two of us (portions are fairly small but very ample). The food tasted lovely and fresh and was displayed wonderfully and I noticed little difference between what was served here and the traditional dim sum you find in Chinatown. Delicious! My favourite thing about coming here however had to be the cocktails. They are totally original, delicious and a work of art (need to try for yourself!) Our bill came to a little over £40 - very reasonable for 2 people including drinks and service. A cool and inexpensive night out with a difference.

Try this place! - I was recently introduced to Ping Pong by a friend and like the idea of not having to go into Chinatown for delicious dim sum. As part of of a chain of restaurants it really doesn't feel like that and coming here is always a nice experience. The ordering process is a little unusual as you mark the dishes you want on a list but I have never had any problems with my order. The food portions although small are very filling so take care not to over order. Do be sure to try the cocktails here though - simply delicious! Other good points include very efficient service and great bar/waiting area if you have a wait for a table which is pretty likely at weekends if you don't book.

Great dim sum - I went to Ping Pong on Friday with a friend and at first I was dubious to go as I’m not to keen on dim sum, (even though I had been before). Ping Pong has a distinctive atmosphere and it’s really hard to put the chopsticks down, as the food is amazing and there was lots of vegetarian options which was great too. The service was really good and I couldn’t believe how attentive the staff were. The waitress realised that we had ordered some dips which were not vegetarian and because all our other dishes were vegetarian she came back and asked us if we wanted the dips. It tends to be quite crowded and you need to wait for a table but you tend to get it pretty fast and while your waiting you can enjoy their amazing cocktails.Even with a few cocktail, the prices at Ping Pong are very good. I will definatley be going back very soon!

dim sum & cocktails - Good collection of different dim sum. Great cocktails especially enjoyable with a large group of friends.
The jasmin tea is also a real treat.

Good quality dim sum - Ping Pong offers good quality dim sum at reasonble prices. There is never a long wait for food although you can sometimes find yourself waiting to get a table at these popular restaurants!
I'm from Sydney and I've grown up on dim sum (`yum cha` there) so I can confidently recommend this place for those seeking good quality chinese.
A good venue if you're in a rush, with a large group of people, or looking to try a variety of different flavours.

Healthy fast food - Ping Pong is a reliable lunch or pre-gig option. Its quick, cheap and relatively healthy. We are addicted to the Char Sui (pork) steamed buns. All the steamed dumplings are great but watch you don't burn your mouth. Try the cocktails too.
