Very bad experience. - I went to this shop few months ago, trying to save some cash (Great big Mistake).
I remember there was an advertising sign just outside the shop, with the price at 10£ “man cut”.
The owner is a man around his 60’s who knows very little on the subject of hairdressing.
After shampooing my hair, I asked the price once more just to reconfirm, and I was told again 10£.
While I was having my hair cut, one chap in his 30’s came in asking for his last salary.
Nevertheless the hairdresser, that I understood be the owner, said to the guy tranquilly .
I felt like be in a “movie” but actually was the awful reality.
I reckon this kind of things must take place on a daily basis or else the man wouldn’t look so calm.
The atmosphere was bizarre, with the guy outside the shop begging for his wage and the so-called hairdresser closing the door and mumbling unpleasant words. As soon as my hair was cut in a very horrific way, the supposed hairdresser told me that I had to pay 18£ instead of the 10£ negotiated. At the end after having realised that having an argument with a rowdy like him was worth nothing, I paid and went out.
I would not refer others to a business that cares so little for the consumer's opinion. And maybe don’t even pay their employee.
