The Chepstow is a light and airy modern pub in a quiet and desirable residential area. The restaurant at the back offers a varied choice of modern European cuisine. Portions are generous, the wine list well-chosen and there is good value for money throughout. Staff are friendly and the service is timely. Catering for private parties of up to 60 guests is available upon request.

quiet, but great food - I don't go for the atmosphere, which ranges from very quiet to football night (but still kind of quiet). They have quiz nights on Tuesdays at 8.30pm. Its on a residential road, so its not super exciting. But most importantly, their food is great. As a vegetarian, the menu is highly exciting, in fact. My friend had the tuna which he keeps gong back for - a special so its not always on the menu. Otherwise they have a great halloumi salad which is unique in London, a great vegetarian burger (made up of layers of veggies) and very good skinny fries and an assortment of side dishes so you can make up your own meal. Their quality is very fresh.
The only time we've had a complaint was when the sunday chicken roast was with not enough seasoning.
Starters and dishes range from 5 to 15pounds (a la cartes and specials) and are decent size. Side dishes are about 3-4pounds and are very big.
As a local, easy place to dine, I'm very glad to have this place. If you frequent the area, it can easily be your local.
UPDATE:
This place has since then changed management. There are no longer great skinny fries or haloumi salad. Vegetarian options are poor, but the side orders are still big.
