Heals I will not be shopping there - Why I won't be shopping at Heals again

I have bought a number things for my home at Heals over the years and they have now lost a good AB1 customer. Why I will never shop at Heals again.................. I recently bought a set of Orla Keily bed sheets at Heals in Tottenham Court Rd. London. When I got them home I realized that they didn't fit my duvet. These were not sale items . They were unopened and I had the receipt and original packaging. I soon learned that Heals, which has been established for well over 100 years will allow a refund if you buy over the internet but will only give gift vouchers for returned goods in the shop. I actually wanted to go elsewhere to purchase my sheets but now I have to buy something else in the store for my £120. This is bad customer relations. I spoke to Michelle Waters who is the furniture manager and she was unable to help as this is a new store policy. I firmly believe that they should have a sign up at the till which states that refunds are not allowed at Heals making it clear that goods purchased are only exchangeable for vouchers. I am very disappointed in this once great store. I would not surprise me in the least if Heals became a victim of the credit crunch
