High Street Gizmos - I used to be a regular customer of the mail order service. The highlight was going to their only shop in Southend-on-Sea. Back then the emphasis was on Electronic Components, now components are a relatively small part of their range.
A useful place if you need a connector or lead at short notice. They still sell components if you are adept with a soldering iron. But now you can get Sat Nav, computer equipment, Satellite TV, Radio Control, tools and more. The shop doesn't have everything, so you may still need to order.
Personally I miss the large range of electronic parts, but still lots of things to look at, and they still sell the Catalogue.
