The Audley is a smart yet down to earth pub attended by business men. The interior of this building is more like a gentlemen's club than a pub with its wooden panelling and chandeliers. The bar serves food but there is also a restaurant upstairs which offers a full menu. They can cater for private parties of up to 100 people and provide outside seating on the terrace.

Mayfair's neighbourhood pub - When I entered the Audley in Mayfair, having randomly walked in during a ramble in the area, I thought it was going to be a snooty place and was prepared to walk out immediately. First impressions in this case were deceptive. As soon as the group of poshly-dressed people drinking near the door left for their evening rendezvous, it went back to being the neighbourhood watering hole that it is. It was moderately crowded but the atmosphere was friendly, as were the staff, and both drinks and food were priced as you'd expect in any other bar, despite it being Mayfair. I had the Soup of the Day (broccoli), and it was quite good. I'd go there again if I happen to be in the area. 17-11-08
