Lovely Local - I met a group of friends who frequent The Bird in Hand for a Sunday pint and some lunch. My potato and courgette soup was yummy and the kids with us all loved the bangers and mash. Others at the table enjoyed the Sunday roast chicken. There are plenty of tables, a good selection of beer and wine. There is also a collection of books and board games to enjoy. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable. Highly recommend. 22-01-09
