The White Hart London Reviews

Good food, reasonably priced booze. - This is a gem of a pub, given its location. I went on a Friday night and, as you’d expect, it was busy and full of post-work people early in the evening. It emptied out a bit later and we were able to get a table for 8 people at the back of the pub.

The décor is kind of cool, with chintzy lamps and fairy lights, the drinks are reasonably priced and the food was really good. I had their all day brunch (bubble and squeak with bacon and poached eggs) which saved me from descending into a proper drunken mess, after drinking three glasses of wine on an empty stomach.

This is good place for a catch up with friends, or to grab food and a few drinks before heading somewhere more lively.

Funny old place - Which claims to be the 'oldest licenced premises in London'. I wonder how many others make that claim? Still, it does have an aged and ramshackle atmosphere about it, and I love the combination of retro video game tables and chintzy lamps. Some nights, you get old people playing the piano. Good selection of wines and beers.
