The 12 Bar Club is renowned as being one of the most famous live music venues in London. They specialise in blues and country music as well as folk, pop, rock and acoustic sets. From Midday until the evening, this venue functions as a cafe serving an assortment of traditional pub fare.

small but perfectly formed - This is a great little venue to see your favorite band before they go and get famous.

You enter into a little seated area and then walk through the the bar that can get a little cramped. The actual stage bit is further towards the back and down a step - you can probably fit about 60 people in there to watch a band and the stage is up pretty high so even if its busy you'll have a good view.

My favorite bit is the wall behind the stage - its all exposed brick work thats all crumbly and gives the whole gig a really unique sentiment.

On the downside I went on a random Monday and had to pay £6 to get in which I think is a little much for somewhere so small. 31-10-07
