I do not usually bother to write reviews, but having been left thoroughly upset by shockingly poor and unprofessional customer service, on this occasion I feel the need to.
I have recently moved back to the area and went to check out Two Foot Nothing. It is a small store with limited choice, but they have some lovely clothing and wooden toys. I had been given some gift vouchers for the store. They were five years old but had no expiry date. I was unsure if they would be accepted and was fully prepared for them to be declined. I was not fully prepared to be made to feel absolutely humiliated over them. The sales assistant was polite and friendly but she did not know how to process the vouchers and so asked her supervisor for help. The supervisor laughed at them, threw them down on the counter and left me feeling utterly humiliated. She could have dealt with it politely and professionally- the store name has not changed so how was I to know it had been taken over by new management since the vouchers were issued?! They had no expiry date which was clearly fault of the previous management.
I have never left a store feeling so humiliated and am really upset with her terrible customer service. Why laugh at a customer- I still have no idea why she found my situation so hilarious but her unprofessional and rude behaviour has cost her my custom. I have two children who wear around 90% Frugi and we buy a lot of wooden toys. I also regularly buy these type of clothes and toys for gifts for friends. I usually shop online at small independent stores who provide outstanding customer service and I shall continue to do so. I shall not be returning here as the thought of seeing that dreadfully rude women again makes me feel too angry and upset. Mocking and humiliating customers will not encourage them to return!
