Bad service. we went in Nottingham's city centre Clarks to get my 3 year olds feet measured and to buy him a new pair. There was about 9-10 customers in the store with half also wanting to use the fitting service. Clarks had one lady doing the fitting which seem to take 10minutes per person. So after waiting 20minutes I asked a young man if he could get me a size 7 infant, as I wanted to try to find his correct size myself. I told the guy we have theatre tickets which start in 25mintes so I cant really wait around.
He informed me he can not help as there is nobody else to cover the floor???
To which I laughed and said then why are you asking others if they want help???
He shrugged his shoulders and walked off.
At this point I had asked my partner to run up to Another shoe shop to check if they do shoe fitting.
So While I tried to keep my upset and bored toddler patience and watch the workers having their little chats wasting more of our time. Our fitting number was called at which we rushed over and was finally seen.
Now I got the size the lady asked if we want the size for the shoe I was holding, I said only if you can get it within 10mins because our theatre show starts at 3pm, She said" sure" then she disappeared for 8-10.
When she came back she seemed shocked my partner and all 3 children were gone. she asked where they were and I told her they have gone to the show?
She was like" aint he gonna try it on?" I was like why its the right size we measured his feet? she said "well we didn't have his size so I bought these" I look down and see 4 boxes of shoes which is not my child's size therefore I look up and simply say "IM GONE"
TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME and A BAD START TO A GREAT EVENING OUT
Ended up arriving late and missed the start of the show thanks to CLARKS staff.
First and last time we use that store!
