I got papped!!! - I love celebrity dining so I thought this was a must.

We arrived and were shown to our table which was very small and in a cramped corner. We were very close to other diners and listened to a sugar daddy and his very young boyfriend's conversation as we had no choice.

The food was good. I had fish and agree with the other review that I have had better chips from my local harvester but everything else was spot on. Not the best restaurant I have been to but well worth a visit.

On leaving the celebrity bubble and heading back outside admittedly after a few drinks we were accosted by several paps trying to find out who was in there. I didnt see anyone but they may have been upstairs in the private part. 06-10-08

definitely not poisonous - My friend took me to the Ivy for lunch because she's a bit obsessed with celebrity dining. We didn't see anyone famous, but it didn't matter because the food was lovely and the service was good.

You can get traditional British fare (my friend said her Shepherds Pie was the best she'd ever had) and they have a seperate well thought out vegetarian menu which is great for us herbivores. Actually one thing I would say with regards to food is don't get chips! Or if you do expect them to be of chicken shop quality.

Random fact: apparently the doorman is one of the richest in the land. 03-10-08
