Delicious food & gorgeous setting - Souk is one of those rare places that have all three of the following qualities - delicious food, reasonable prices and stunning decor - that (for me) make a restaurant worth visiting.

The first thing you'll notice when you visit Souk is the fantastic decor - it's like walking into Aladdin's cave and I've never experienced anything like it. I've never been to Morocco so I can't vouch for authenticity, but it certainly feels like you've escaped drizzly London.

The food was delicious and in generous servings - I couldn't finish a lot of it (which, I have to admit, is virtually unheard of). Veggies may have a bit of a problem as most dishes had chicken, lamb or fish. Any fan of Moroccan food will not be disappointed - all the favourites like tagines, merguez and couscous were there.

With a relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous setting and fantastic food, Souk is ideal for large parties, but also works well with pairs. Avoid if you want a quick lunch, a quiet dinner or if you're dining solo - you'll just miss out on the fun!

One tip - if you want to see the belly dancers then sit downstairs.
