Delish Sandwiches!! - My friend use to live in this area and took us here one day... I was so sad that I had already eaten because the sandwiches looked SOOO DELICIOUS!!! So of course, the next time I was in the area, I just HAD to come back because she raved endlessly about this place. Also, I LOVE places that are super cute, friendly and family owned.

I got a chicken sandwich with all the dressings, even HUMMOUS (so good!), and they toast it for you.. and the sandwich is actually large enough for 2 meals! (I ate it in one.. but you know..) And for only about 6pounds (sorry, I'm on an American comp so I can't get the GBP sign quickly)... such a STEAL!

They also have a lot of med dishes that you can take away.. It'd be perfect or a quick healthy meal you don't wanna cook.

Also a great sandwich to grab on the way to an afternoon in Hyde Park. :)

Great Vegetarian Options - Jakobs is a great place for a casual lunch, or maybe to grab something to bring home for dinner when you can't be bothered to cook. The food is wholesome and tasty, with mostly Mediterranean dishes to choose from. There are lots of veggie options (great tabbouleh), as well as satisfying salads and sandwiches.

There is a smallish seating area in the back, although a lot of the business is take out. You order up at the counter where there is a display of what's available. This would be a good place to get a box lunch to bring to the park.

Before Royal Albert - This is a convenient spot if you're hitting the Royal Albert Hall and are pressed for time or don't want something too formal.

Loads of fresh, yummy stuff at the counter - the stuffed aubergines are rich and excellent - and you can get a plate with 3 or 5 different dishes.

Baklava has been a bit dry the times I've been.
