PizzaExpress has expanded enormously over the years and now has a staggering number of outlets. The simple menu and kitchen concept has retained its freshly made ideal and you can still watch your pizza being prepared for you. This branch also provides a takeaway facility.

Decent salads - For about £10 per person, Pizza Express is an acceptable place to go and considering the choices around Victoria, it’s one of the few places where you can get a healthy sized salad quickly. The selection is pretty decent from Tuscan chicken with Mediterranean vegetables; chicken with avocado, red peppers and egg; chicken ceaser; tuna nicoise; and a salad of grilled mushrooms, mozzarella, avocado and tomatoes. They also have a large selection of pizzas (go figure), pasta dishes and your typical starters like bruschetta and antipasta platter but I can’t comment on whether they are good or not.
This is typical chain food, so don’t expect it to be great. It’s an under an hour lunch with a friend or colleague when you don’t want to wait in the EAT line and your stomach isn’t quite up for greasy Pizza Hut. The staff are friendly and efficient as they are trying to churn the tables to maximize revenue but that’s what you want when it’s a quick work lunch.
