The Greencoat Boy London Reviews

Boycott the Greencoat Boy - I've used the Greencoat Boy on and off for about 2 years and always considered it distinctly average. Recently, however, the Greencoat Boy's standards have really slipped and the service has become appaling.

Be prepared to stand in an overcrowded pub or squashed onto the pavement outside. You will periodically be shouted at for stepping / falling into the road when it gets even more packed. The manager of the pub will also refuse to serve you if you dare to joke about the ridiculously long wait at the bar or the uncomfortable conditions inside or outside the pub. He may also refuse to serve you for any number of personal reasons as he sees fit!

The food in this pub is also not great. We ordered a cheese ploughmans, which arrived without cheese. When we dared to ask for the main ingredient of our sandwich to be added, we were scowled and tutted at before the sandwich was taken away. This was returned with a sprinkling of grated cheese.

I urge everyone to forget the overcrowded and uptight Greencoat Boy and either venture to the nearby Cardinal, Monk or Barley Mow for a friendlier and more relaxed drink!
