AVOID - Put £900 on my card without asking - this was £200 more than agreed (a very high amount for the job anyway but I was desperate). Took weeks to produce a fabricated invoice and then ignored all my queries. Robbers.

Avoid Like the Plague - Booked initially to fix a leaky tap and loo. Came out and fixed both and took £210 off my debit card without offering a receipt. But the tap was actually much worse the next day. Asked for a return visit. I made arrangements for six appointments to rectify the problem that they failed to attend. Only on the last occasion did they even inform me that they would not be showing up. So I have paid for work that was not done, and been left in the lurch for nearly three weeks.

Terrible Service - We had a terrible leak in the kitchen. They had to come 2 times, it was an hour's job. The guys who came to fix it were nice and polite. We somehow ended paying £420 for a pipe basically but as the landlord was paying for it and he was the one who arranged it we didn't bother. For some reason they never emailed me an invoice which I requested many times an guess what? Next day our sink got full of water when I used the washing machine and now he have a terrible blockage. When I called them to ask for the invoice again and explain the situation they just hung up and never picked up the phone again. Not professional at all.

very pleased client review - I needed a new shower and contacted my landlord to arrange it. He sent someone out from a company called Hackney Plumbers. I was very pleased with the speed and quality of which the work was finished. The engineer was very polite and professional. I have told my landlord that the service from Hackney Plumbers was superb.

Boiler Breakdown Repair - Helpful over the phone, understanding and not condescending as with some trades people, prompt, friendly & reliable. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Good and honest local traders - I have had these guys at my house 2 times and I am very impressed with professional service overall from beginning to end. On first occasion a guy named Arthur came around to fix a leaking radiator which he did, very quickly. On the second occasion a different chap came over and fixed my dishwasher. He replaced a pump and now it's working again, so thank you very much!
