John Bowles VW Repairs was established in 1979 as a small garage in Sevenoaks, specialising in Volkswagen and Audi. Due to an increasing customer base, larger premises were required and a move to their current location in Dunton Green was made in 1984.
With vehicle manufacturers moving in the direction of Fuel Injection and Electronic Ignition, we joined Bosch in 1986 and became a Bosch Jetronic Centre, investing in Bosch Diagnostic equipment and extensive training. 1993 saw the opening of an extra branch in Tunbridge Wells with 3 members of staff, Graham Smith (Manager), Keith Draper (Senior Technician), and Percy Leach (Delivery Driver).
During 1996, Ken Large replaced Percy Leach, and Shane Fuller joined as a Trainee Technician.
