The Duke of Wellington is a pub on Balls Pond Road in Hackney, near the border with Islington. It is a 4 minute walk from Dalston Junction and part of De Beauvoir Town conservation area. It reopened in April 2009 under new management following a refurbishment. It is open from 3pm until late Monday-Friday, from 11am for Saturday brunch and 12noon for Sunday Roasts. We serve fresh locally-sourced food, stock a wide range of real ales and cider, with at least 4 real ales on at a time. We have an extensive range of single malts, American bourbon, and rums. We have free wi-fi, a function room available for hire, a film night and big screen sports. The pub dates from the 1840s.
