I can recommend this shop over and over again. They provide excellent service. They helped me to fix what other engineers found difficult to do and to crown it all, their service is relatively cheaper, despite being highly professional. This is the best place to fix computers. They wowed me!

Awesome service and highly professional. Computer place exceeds my expectation regarding the repairs done on my laptop. I have been to many other shop before going to Computer place and they gave me the best service and even cheaper. I got my laptop earlier before the time they told that it would be ready. My laptop now works well.

AVOID - This service is shockingly bad and reading all the reviews below I cannot see the reason why this company is still allowed to work. If you had problems as well, please, get in touch. The staff is unprofessional, they overcharge for a poor service and the engineer responsible (the aforementioned Danny - see other reviews) is extremely rude and unfriendly - he will simply ignore your complains and refuse to discuss the situation. Maybe he thinks people get tired and go away, but everyone who had problems should report it.

Quick And Professional Service - [] To be honest, Computer Place is the most organised, fast and reliable computer shop I have ever seen in London. Everything is printed, written-out and explained to the customer and quotes are given and above all, they seek your confirmation before doing your job their engineers are really damn professionals in computer support.


[] Great Service I bought a new computer for to replace my old one. I had a Computer Place technician come out to hook everything up and transfer my data from my old computer to the new one. The engineer explained everything he was doing and showed me how to navigate through my new computer. He did a great job! I would definitely use them again for any of my computer needs.


[] Money well spent I had a laptop that didn't work and had all my photos on the hard drive which I didn't want to lose. Computers Place managed to recover my photos and managed to get my laptop working again, and it is a lot faster than before. Money well spent really.

[] Affordable price many computer repair company may come off as a bit pricey, but Computer Place is exception. They provide service at a reasonable charge, and price of their replacement parts is also affordable. I always seek Computer Places' help in case of any computer hardware and software issues.


[] Very professional service! I love Computer Place and I have been using them where ever I have been stocked. The best part is they call or text you instantly and take care of the problem fast.


[] We are new to North London and our computer started going to random websites and running very slow and sluggish. I Came across this review site and gave Computer Place a try. We dealt with Danny and he was very precise and found the problem fast. Same day my computer was blazing fast and no more random web sites. Jose and I will pass around Computer Place name on base and tell everyone about Computer Place and their excellent service. And by the way, they are open 7 days a week like they advertise.

Avoid, sexual harrasment, Abusive - I cant ever Rate this place please Ladies be careful this man will abuse anyone that come in contact with him and will not repair your computer but take your money and break your computer

In July 2011 , i took my sony laptop to be repaired to this place "Computer place " in 106 Golders Green Road, London NW11 8HB, 020 7100 3555.
The Manager Name is Danny, after i drop my computers to be repaired at the shop this man started to call me at home made sexual proposition to me. i felt really angry and worried i reported him to the police.
The police came with me at his shop to get my laptop and i paid for the service he did.
After i got home i found out that all my computers are not working and this man basically spoke my money.

His very clever and avoid to give his name, the business as no cover policy for complain procedure and make it very difficult for anyone to take action against him or report a bad service.

I m in process to take court action against this man with the help of the police , please be careful with this Business as this brought so much stress to me

i wish i never went to this shop

These people are cheats - I found the details of this company on the internet and I called them to find out if they would be able to deal with my crashing computer today. A man with a heavy accent said that they would be able to do a diagnostic and tell me what is the problem. He continued to say that the diagnostic was free and if I agreed to the repair, they would go ahead with it.

I told the chap that I was coming from far and I would like to know if he would be there to deal with the problem. The technician seemed to know what his was talking about and said the shop would be open until 6pm and they would give me an answer by then. I left home and drove for an hour to the shop. According to the receptionist, I was to leave my computer at the shop because it is a Saturday, that there were no technicians on a Saturday and that I would get a call from them sometime from Monday.

A wasted journey, wasted time and denied an opportunity to go elsewhere. I made subsequent attempts at calling the technician and he would not answer my phonecalls.

Awful - brought my alienware laptop to repair here, they offered to repair/override my graphic card chip for about 200£ and they confirmed I wouldn't have an problem to run the same games I was running before.
Results: my laptop is running in vga mode. Can't play the games I was running before. This laptop is basically useless now.
Nobody informed me about the consequences of the repair and when I tried to talk to them they been unreasonable,loud and very aggressive.
Their point was that the work has been done...even if they didn't warn me about what will happen to the general laptop performance.
Absolutely unacceptable behaviour, awful customer service, a waste of time and money.

AVOID - I phoned them on the afternoon of the 12 Dec to make enquiries about a computer power cable and was told that the ENGINEER would call me back to discuss price and availibility.Engineer called back to say that he could order the part and that it cost 28.00 and that it would take 2-3working day's.Called the shop on Tue Dec 15 to check on my order and was told the ENGINEER would call me back,HE NEVER.Called the shop again on Wed Dec 16 and spoke to the ENGINEER.He then told me that i needed to come into the shop to pay for the part and that he had not ordered the part as per our discussion on the 12Dec.Bearing in mind he had my number and having already placed an order with him why did he not call me in the first instance and explain this to me.So on Dec 16 I went and paid for the part(a simple power cable) and was again told 2-3 working day's.I left it till Mon Dec21 then called the shop.Was told the ENGINEER was out but was told that he would call,HE NEVER.Called on Dec22 and was told the same thing,HE NEVER CALLED.Went into the shop yesterday(23DEC) To ask for my money back and was told NO because the part is on order.Today I called CONSUMER DIRECT to ask for advice and was offered a few pointers.DO I NEED THIS HASSLE IN MY LIFE??ANSWERS PLEASE??

Avoid - Avoid. Said on the phone and when I took my laptop in that is was same day service.
They did not even call me
I called several times. Spoke to one lady who seemed to be reading a script and could not tell me if my laptop would be ready.
Said engineer would call me. He did NOT
So i just went to pick it up and was told they could not get the part today....why on earth did they not call to tell me
worst possible service.
