More than tasty - Harrow is undoubtedly the most disgusting area in London. Even ugly places can surprise positively- especially when you are in the claws of hunger.
I pass Sakonis everyday. It looks like a canteen for homeless and it’s always full of people. ‘They serve food for free – I was thinking and because of the critical financial situation I decided to look for extra savings eating right there.
I’m not a big fan of Indian food but I was delighted with Sakonis offer. I had Dahi Puri, curry and bhajiya- and you know what? It was more than tasty. I was tempted by sweets and I was planning to get a takeaway but it’d be a little bit unfair to other people counting on free food.
I was eating, eating and eating but when I finished I got a bill….I accepted it with submissiveness as I knew what I was paying for.
Sakonis was just awesome. The next time I’ll definitely try something else and I know I’ll be satisfied.
