Terrible! - No air conditioning, broken fridges, failed all health inspections, frequently out of salad, cannot honour vouchers such as GroupOn (always out of smoothies!), cannot pay bills or staff and the whole company has gone in administration. Google for Sumo Salad aministration.

I would stay well clear of this one!

Tasty Salads - I have only just discovered this salad place when I finally ventured out of the office and actually got a lunch!

So much more choice than where I usually go and very fresh. I had the Moroccan Lamb and it was beautiful - all the produce looked really fresh. You can also deisgn your own which was good for my friend who is quite picky :)

Apparently these guys have lots of stores in Oz - can't wait for them to have more in the UK - think this could do really well.

Triple treat near The Tower - I came, I saw, I tasted; and I'll be back! Great to find such stylish premises with food that is a treat for the eyes, the tastebuds and the waistline.........

YUM YUM - please open some more! - The best non-restaurant place to get lunch in London. Sumo has so much choice and all of it is delicious! Sumo does proper salads, with proper food in them, so you can still be healthy without having to live on lettuce alone. I love the make your own.
Why is there only one Sumo? Please open some more branches. Fulham??!

Cracking lunch in EC3! - Went to Sumo Salad today on Byward Street, near Tower Hill Tube. Friendly service, fresh food presented really well. I had a Vietnamese Chicken Salad. OH. MY. GOD. Seriously good stuff. And, I'm guessing, pretty healthy too - it was certainly very fresh and made there and then. They do other non-salad food (e.g. baguettes, wraps, soup etc). I had one of their yoghurts and a freshly squeezed OJ - both pretty good.
I'd recommend this place highly - friendly attentive staff, fresh food and decent value. I'm just delighted to have somewhere decent other than EAT and Pret for lunch.

About time... - I spent a year in Sydney back in 2006 and I used to eat here all the time. I wondered why it had never come to the UK - it seems such a simple thing to do. It looks like everything is exactly like I remember it back in Oz - delicious, fresh food, focusing mainly on salads. Vietnamese Chicken is the best, in my opinion. Unlike other places in London, they have a salad bar as well, it looks lovely.

I've been back a few times since my office is near Monument and not been let down yet. But it seems to be getting busier, which means that people are catching on, I guess. Definitely an alternative, but healthy lunch option in the City
