If you have no class or taste..... - I visited there for a hen night and the music was shocking!! They said they would take requests but then wouldn’t play anything we wanted. (Even though we were only asking for chart music like black eyed peas)
The staff commented on the hen party being subdued and I explained that the music was bringing everyone’s mood down. The manager, Nick, was unwilling to help with the situation and actually walked away from me whilst I was talking to him.
Every time a good tune came on that worth dancing to, a really bad one followed it. It completely destroyed the buildup to what should have been a great night.
They also said there was a dance floor and there wasn’t. Considering we could have spent a LOT of money that night, we decided not to...and actually we had a better party in our party bus on the way home!
The place was like a meat market and I thought that even some of the staff were a bit lecherous! The drinks were nice but ridiculously overpriced outside of happy hour.
If you want a good night out...don’t go there.

Great party venue - I loved this place even when It was the tiny, cramped little "Inside 72 Bar" - it was where the cool kids hung out. The casual atmosphere attracted a lot of students too among the hip crowd as the bar staff played their own choice of music and it was always great. I hope the new owners continue this tradition, they seem set to do so. So when a mate and I stumbled in one Wednesday evening, slightly worse for wear, but faithfully committed to continuing the trend, I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the place. It seems about 3 times bigger and you wonder where all the space came from! Toby at the bar was ultra helpful and friendly as he suggested and explained their extensive cocktail list.

I never knew that Mojito's could be made with anything but rum, and they have 4 varieties including the bison grass vodka one I had which was delicious! I think some of the purists in the area might argue that Prosecco is not Champagne, which is what goes into the 'Champagne Cocktails'. However there is a small but perfectly adequate wine list which includes Moet and Veuve Cliquot so presumably something could be worked out, although personally I think it's a waste. I will definitely be back to sample some more of the exciting and extensive cocktail list. Liquorish up the road might have competition! 20-10-08
