1st swim of the year - yup what a place!
just been there for the 1st swim of 2009!
it's on my way to work (sortov)
sells my favourite coffee :D
weather getting better, so will soon be lounging by the pool for an hour with a book and a coffee..
heated enough to swim in mid winter - I didn't this year though.
get here early on a really sunny weekend - it get's too busy - to be honest that's the only time I try to avoid it.
Not sure if they do food but last year on sunny days they even give out free samples of ice cream!!!

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT - I absolutely love this place!
to the point where I'm not sure I want to share it with people more than I do already..
I feel I have to do my moral public duty by pointing people in it's direction though. :)
It's a heated all year round outdoor swimming pool in the middle of one of east london's nicest parks - reason enough for it to be great!
LFL now has a great coffee shop attached to it aswell though - so I can have a swim, followed by a good coffee - my favourite possible start to the day!!
I've had a toasted panini from them in early summer that I remember being decent too but to be honest I can't really remember the menu..
I'm starting to piece a coffee jigsaw together actually:
The lido is supplied by Square Mile Roasters who seem to be supplying a fair number of my favourite places..
For good coffee - look for the Square Mile logo
..for good swimming - look for London Fields Lido!
