Angel's Eye - I had a date yesterday. It wasn't very succesful as my boyfriend-to-be didn't seem to care. (he didn't even shave properly) I was expecting a nice afternoon in expensive restaurant, flowers and so on... and he bought some beers and took me to the park. It wasn't even a park...it was a space aspiring to be one. It was still the best part of that 'romantic' meeting as I could observe people not to look at him:)
I called that place Angel's Eye (all rights reserved) although the official name is Canonbury Park just off the main road of Upper Street. The park was really overcrowded as it was Sunday- but I'm more than sure it's quite popular during the weekdays as well as it has a great location (about 5 minutes walk from Angel tube station).
Undoubtedly, it's great place to escape from your shopping wife (as there's a shopping centre nearby), a perfect one to read The Sun or have sandwich from local Tesco or Sainsbury. Well, there's nothing special there but if it starts raining, you can always hide in a pub as there are lots of them around.
To sum up, his (a boyfriend-to-be) decision was right somehow and I'll surely come back to Angel's Eye with my friends.
