We just had coffee, I wanted more. - I was drawn in by the seats upholstered in the seat covering of the buses that took me to school in the 1980s. To discover that this is one of the few places in London to serve up a decent shot of espresso was just a bonus.
I'd long since resigned myself to not getting decent coffee here in London. This is of course exacerbated by a factor of about a 1000 if you dial espress into the mix. I stopped here with my brother after a hard day's spodding at the buses and trains of London and guzzled down two of their cappuccinos.
The drinks were a delight, subtle chocolatey notes from the espresso were expertly combined with the milk and sprinkled with the tiniest dusting of cocoa. They weren't too strong, weren't too weak, just right for an early afternoon pit stop.
The people at the adjacent table ordered up some very appetising looking snacks, ones that I will be more than happy to tip in the near future.
