Where there's a Will there's no way - My will was being kept for safekeeping by Thompsons. On 15th January I requested by letter for it to be returned to me; they promised I would receive it within 10 days. On 26 February it still hadn't arrived. Contacting Thompsons by telephone was impossible; telephones are left on answerphone. On 6th March I still had not received the Will. I eventually spoke to an employee who could give no acceptable explanation for the delay except to say he would have to speak to his manager. I did not receive the Will until 10th March after having to make threats to refer to the Law Society. If you want speed and efficiency do not go to this company.
