Normally I always book a cab from Spearhead sometimes drivers are very good and sometimes drivers are very bad. but today 26/01/2021 i booked a cab and i had my 2 year old son with me, he was crying when taxi arrived. the driver said put him on the seat and put the seat belt to him, which was fine with me, but as my son was crying he wanted to sit on my lap but the driver was refusing it and then he said to my son, sit down, stop crying, be a good boy in a very rude way at first he calm down but he just wanted to sit on my lap so he started crying again. I told driver can you please drive he will be fine. he took at least 5 mins to start the drive, as my son didn't stop crying he was pulling the seat belt and kicking the transparent sheet which was in the middle of the car seats driver said to me that if you cant control him then i am gonna leave him here, which was in the middle of the journey. I got angry and told him to stop the car cz i didn't not wanted to ride with him. I called his operator to complain all he said to me that driver was complaining that u were not wearing the mask.

Very very very bad driver and bad experience never gonna book a cab from them.

VERY RUDE TAXI DRIVER AND UNHELPFUL OPERATOR!

Book a taxi for a Friday morning school-run to take my child to school. Normally when I book from Spearhead I always gets 3texts. 1st text to say that the a taxi has been booked from my address to destination, 2nd text to say that the taxi is on the way and link to show the exact location of the taxi on the way and 3rd text to say the taxi with its make, model and plate no. of the car has arrived. Unfortuantely none of these texts was NOT sent to me. So I have been waiting for the taxi and looking-out in our window and door. I have opened our door 3X checking if the taxi has arrived, only on the 3rd time when I checked that the taxi was already there.

As my children and I were getting into the car...the taxi driver asked in a very abrupt manner "why you took so long to get into the car? Now I missed my other job alert!". I told him, I should be the one asking why I did not get a text alert and I also have been waiting for him to arrive? His tone was he's blaming me for loosing another job and we wasted his time! He was quite rude and abrupt! At this point I also raised my voice and said "you should blame your operator because they did NOT send a text alert & had I known we could have just waited outside the house!" I asked him, if you are not happy to take us then we will just get out of his taxi!" But he still carried-on and said "you're inside my taxi now!"

After he dropped us off, I immediately rang the operator and explained what happend. I also expressed how upset and cross I was with their taxi drivers behaviour and how rude he was! When I said to the man on the other end of the phone that "your taxi driver should blame the operator and not me as your customer!". The man replied on the phone "you cannot blame the operator, there a glitch in our text messaging alerts". So I asked "who should I blame then?" "He said I have to put the phone down so I could call the taxi driver and talk to him" Never had I heard an apology from both the taxi driver and the operator on the phone! The operator did not even express any emphaty or even an assurance that they wiil do something about the issue or even reprimand the taxi driver!

I would also suggest to other passengers/customers to look for other taxi company and NOT to book for Spearhead taxi as they are RUDE and NOT Customer friendly! This is not the frist time I had an awful experience with them that is why I have now searched for other taxi companies locally.

If you have the choice, do not use! - Ordered a taxi to get me home from college on Friday. First it was late, then going up a main road was so close to the back of another car they were literally touching. I was quite scared at this point. Then the car in front indicates and turns but because the taxi driver was so close there was nearly a crash. The taxi driver then started swearing and shouting, he then pulls away past my stop and pulls over sharply and waits for the other driver. He then starts swearing and becoming extremely abusive. The other driver then apologises to me, the driver responds "Don't f***ing apologise to her" in a really rude way. I felt really uncomfortable at this point. The driver then threatens the other man describing what he will do to him "when he is alone". He then drives off very fast, well over the speed limit and drops me off in the wrong place.
I finally get home, extremely shaken and upset and ring up the office to explain what happened. The manager was very rude to me and fobbed me off completely telling me I needed to email my complaint and I would receive a instantaneous response and a reply in 2 working days. I have received no response whatsoever. This is not the only incident I have had with these people.

I was in a crash when one of their drivers pulled out at a roundabout. I have been shouted at and racially abused by their drivers. I literally have not had a good experience with them.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE NOT GOOD DRIVERS AND ARE EXTREMELY INTIMIDATING AND RUDE. USE 49'ERS!
