Hot lunch! It's funkin hot - I doubt that you got the musical reference in my title, but now that the days are getting colder, I miss working in Clerkenwell principally because of Konditor & Cook.

Their hot lunches are so special. They do a meat and vegetarian option every day on rotation. The veggie options that I just had to have were macaroni cheese or any of their risottos. They’re priced at 4.50 which is pretty reasonable for what you get - the portions definitely fill you up.

You can eat inside, but you'd be lucky to get a table.

They also do good posh cakes and biscuits etc, which are good for presents for aunties and uncles etc. 09-10-08
