Just love my beautiful renovations - Andy Holmes of Best Holmes, was well recommended to me by professionals, such as an architect and civil engineer. Final choice was based on advice and fair pricing. My home ,a bungalow,required total renovation of all rooms , including doors,floors, new altered kitchen and bathroom all of which which was completed to a high standard . This was followed on with a new staircase and loft conversion creating a bedroom, ensuite shower room and ample cupboard space. Andy and the Guys have been easy to get along with,friendly,helpful,considerate, and generally excellent in their attention to detail.Walls had to come down.Problems found in an old house had to be resolved. The Guys kept the fall out to a minimum, especially since I had to be resident during this massive undertaking. So, the result being for me is an entirely lovely home, I am just so delighted

WORST CONTRACTORS I HAVE EVER DEALT - I used this company for a garage conversion and to fit a new kitchen on price alone.
The deal was no payment “until the job was finished & I was completely satisfied”. However, days prior the job commencing the owner asked me for some cash up front as he “had no money to buy shoes for his son”. Being a mother myself I felt pity on him and gave him £5000 upfront. Alarm bells should have been ringing there!!!!
Foolishly I left them my keys and went on a 2 week holiday and they had guaranteed me all the work would be completed. They said it would take 3 days.. On our arrival home the house was a disaster! There was dust EVERYWHERE! They did not put down dust sheets to protect any of our furniture. My neighbours complained about their fowl language and loud music the evening before we returned home, obviously trying to finish the job off before we came home.
They left plaster all over my monoblock drive and the street which I had to pay to get cleaned.
They put the electrical box in the centre of the garage, even though it was very clearly in the plans in the back corner of the room. This is where the problems go even worse.
I told them I would pay the outstanding balance one they had completed the job and moved the box. Then one of the (many) thugs that work there, barged into my home and pushed me out of the way – all in front of my 3 year old and ripped out my kitchen..
One of the worse experiences of my life. This is only a fraction of what happened and the 3 day job went on for almost 4 months...
My advise, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
