somebodys got their wires crossed - On being recomended to use chant and old ltd I decided to research them online.

I came across this review by a disgruntled customer.

I have to say at first i was wondering why I had been recommended this company but they came so highly recommended i proceded with having a full house re-wire.

To my amazement I cannot believe this is the same company as previously reviewed.

The staff were polite, friendly and very proffesional. I was updated daily on the progress of the works and feel the lads could not have done more for me.

I would not hesitate to use Chant & Old ltd again and have recommended them on several occasions to family and friends.

Don't be in the dark - Chant & Old were introduced as sub contractors to complete electrical work for a bungalow refurbishment. Their crew ranged from pleasant, professional and co-operative to rude and ignorant. However the job was eventually completed but with unrectified dimmer switch faults (as dimmer resistors fitted were underspecced), an electrical certificate that never materialised, and some dubious work where the 'new' connected to the 'old' wiring that I had to make safe myself.
Why resort to DIY? You can call Chant and Old and leave messages, you can write to Chant & Old, you can send recorded delivery letters to Chant & Old, you can Fax Chant & Old but you will NEVER hear from them. Once off your site this Company is gone!
Would I use them again - No!
Would I recommend them - No!
If you are smart enough to read this review before engaging Chant & Old you are probably smart enough to draw your own conclusions........
