Citi Buffet Nottingham Reviews

dissapointing...! - Went for lunch recently with a few friends...very dissapointed, what a poor selection...you could'nt even describe this as a buffet...a few popadums and dips..2-3 salads and some luke warm chicken tikka..that woz the starters!! main courses woz not much better most of the dishes were empty, there was one curry which was tasty but very little meat, I could not believe that the staff were not topping the buffet up. The soft drinks were flat and the service poor...never again!!!For the same price you could go to Red Hot Buffet Shaks or Big Wok...crazy!!!

Not advisable! - We went to citi international buffet on a Saturday night. On arrival the place was a lot smaller than we expected. It was not very busy and for a Saturday night at peak time. We were seated in the entrance very close to the doorway which was cold, we asked to be moved but the staff refused and said the other tables were booked, although throughout the time we were there not all of the tables were taken. We went up to help ourselves to food but most of the food trays were empty. There was chicken tikka masala minus the chicken, pasta in tomato sauce minus the pasta. We waited a while but the food was not stocked back up. We also ordered fresh pizzas which were not very appetising. For £13.50 per head this was not very good value for money. We would not recommend.

Good food ,good value for money - The food was good, varied and tasty.£8.50 for Sunday buffet, 6.50 in the week. I will be going back.Choices of indian foods, thai, italian, etc even desserts all in the price. Pay for drinks separately.Good value for money.

FANTASTIC BUFFET - I have no idea when the previous reviewer went or even visited but when me and my friends ate at Citi we thought the food was excellent. It was hard to believe this was not an a la carte restuarant. And to top it the service was very attentive and i loved our free fresh naan. The food was in much smaller portions but i was advised it would be topped up regularly and it clearly was.(though i had to wait 10mins for my pork ribs but well worth it) The dessert table was to die for(none of that frozen gateux rubbish) I have already been back with my boyfriend and will soon pop back. I recommend the buffet to everyone. Dont judge until you try!!!

overpriced, bland food but ok place - nice place but very small selection of dishes what seem to of been sat there for some time (skin forming on top of dishes) pizza and naans you can order as you want them but they was not of a good quality. Drinks were averagely priced for these sort of places, the food was all you can eat for £8.50 we did not think this was good value for money and the overall quality of food was poor. it looks like this is just another one of them fill your faces outlets that will feed you anything! verdict: go elsewhere!
