Amazing Costume, Outstanding Value! - I recently was invited to a tudor themed party - odd theme yes but I went to The Dressing Room and they sorted me out with a fab outfit. It was a beautiful tudor dress in greens and golds. It was slightly too big and it didn't have a head dress, but the lady said she could alter it to fit and that it needed a headress and she would make one to match!! No extra charge. Well, when I returned to collect the costume I was amazed. The headwear she had made was so detailed and matched perfectly, the dress fit like a glove - this was only 2 days after my initial visit- impressive. It was not just what they had created that I was most impressed with it was the service that I recieved. They were so relaxed. I Have hired costumes from other places before and you have to pick your costume up the day you want it and return it the next morning before 12pm, well not in this shop - they are very accomodating and let you return the costume at a time that is convienient to you, within reason.
I had a fab night at the party, best outfit there. Others had paid a fortune for rental costumes and I had spent £15!!!! Really good value for money.

The Happiest Shop in Canterbury! - I've been going to buy my fancy dress from this establishment for 3 years now. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. All the staff are friendly, helpful and nothing is ever to much bother.
The shop is small but it is crammed full of loads of fancy dress, it's a great shop to go to to get inspired and the staff offer good ideas and help you to put together a costume you are happy with.
I don't understand one of the other reveiws that says there is no clear changing room because the changing room is one of the funkiest (yes, smallest) changing rooms I've ever been in.

Rude service, shocking product - Bought a Michael Myers Halloween outfit from there for £35 on Friday 9th October 2010. Got home to try it on (I was not given the option in the store), and it did not look like the product shown on the packaging, providing a poor quality foam knife and a vial of fake blood. The boiler suit had no collar and had no buttoning or velcro on the back. I returned to the shop 20 minutes later to request an exchange, which surely should be reasonable if you bought it a mere 20 minutes earlier. I did not receive the refund, the shopkeeper told me that she said I could have asked to try it on, yet there was no clear changing area and I was not given the option. What was worst however was the astonishing rudeness that was shown towards me in tone of voice and attitude by the shopkeeper, as if I was some sort of irritation and was frankly humiliated. I was given a new version of the outfit, but it had the same problems as the old one. Overall, not only was I ripped off massively and misled, I was treated like a total idiot and made to feel awful in front of other customers. I admit the purchase was not my most astute and was done in a rush, but the subsequent treatment as well as the poor quality of the product was disgraceful. Get your fancy dress off the Internet, do not bother with this establishment.

dressed to impress! - If you want to dress to impress this is certainly the place for you! a fantastic collection of costumes - you dream it, they've got it. You also couldn't wish for more friendly, helpful service. Well worth a visit!
