Veg delight - It had been a tough week, we normally cook at home but tonight with our daughter away staying at her grandmothers we decided to get a quick dinner nearby. I had been once before on my own to Kovalam and thought it friendly and good. Cyn loves S. Indian food so I suggest we try it. It wasn't busy two tables were tucking in to good looking food and talking away.
We knew what we wanted which was Masala Dosa's and a vegitable side dish. Our charming waitress suggested stir fried beetroot we agreed. The dosa's were large crispy the flour mix clean with the slight tartness I would expect. The filling good freshly cooked and subtily spiced. The masala was good could have been slightly more spiced for my tastes. Now for the highlight that went a long way to getting the 4th *. The beetroot was delicious as good as I've eaten. gently spiced and cooked with coconut.
We started with a starter platter and had two beers the bill came to £30.
