La Tasca are a chain of authentic Spanish restaurants with a careful blend of everything that is good about Spain - warm decor, authentic cuisine and friendly hospitality. All this combines to create a great atmosphere, where you can relax and eat or drink as much as you like, from a selection of Tapas dishes to an authentic Paella. They also serve a selection of Spanish wines, sherry, beers and Sangria. This branch can cater for private parties of up to 100 people and provide outside seating on the terrace. Euros are also accepted as a method of payment.

La Tasca London Reviews

A lovely meal - I have ate at La Tasca 3 times now since moving to london 4 months ago.
I wish i could eat there more!
The staff are very friendly, the food is gorgeous, and the prices aren't too bad compared to the other restaurants around here.

I recommend this place to everyone!

Viva East London! - I love La Tasca at West India Quay. It’s set on the busy West India Quayside opposite Cabot Square and is one of the most popular destinations at Canary Wharf. Like all good Tapas bars it’s lively and bustling, the food is simple and authentic with really fresh ingredients and the beer and wine flows liberally at decent prices. You can drop in for a quickie before going to the cinema or stay all night and get properly hammered, have a rowdy evening and come away without feeling like you’ve paid over the odds. The Jamon de Pata (Black Footed Pig iberico ham) is outstanding, the calamari are light and fresh, the albondigas are delish, the paella, croquetas de pollo and pertty much everything is exactly what you imagine when you think of proper spanish food. If you’re a veggie the Aubergines, olives, breads, cheeses, baked and stuffed vegitables, fish and non-meat based dishes are plenitful too… at least for a Tapas bar. The wine list is excellent and I’d particularly recommend the Yllera (red and white) and the selection of tempranillo wines, but the Marques de Riscal rioja always delivers. Plus the selection of spanish liquers, beers, brandies, sangria and things I’d never heard of before were excellent too. The staff are always pleased to see you and invest a lot in hospitality and giving you a good time. This place really is a great choice, especially in the summer when you can sit on the terrace and have a proper party. Don’t listen to West Londoners who’ve never ventured further east than Tottenham Court Road, Canary Wharf is jammed full of all kinds of people and has a very exciting nightlife, with La Tasca making an excellent choice for reasonably priced food and a really good night out.
