The Counting House was originally a bank and converted to a pub in 1992. It is situated on the promenade opposite North Pier. This is the central area for Blackpool's busy nightlife and the Counting House is a popular pub on the main circuit. It is particularly busy with tourists and hen and stag parties at weekends.
