Appauling service - Appauling service.
I bought a groupon voucher for a half head of foils and a cut. I had to go in a week early for a test patch and when asked what I usually had I stated that I had 2 blondes, a bright blonde and a more natural one. I was then advised that the voucher only allowed for one colour and if I wanted to I would have to pay an additonal £20. I have previously had one colour before so I said ok to just one colour blonde and confirmed my booking for the following week. I had my hair done and as my hair was being brushed after having had it washed I noticed it was orange down the centre of my parton and patchy and not all of my root had been coloured. I advised of my concerns to the girl doing my hair and she said it would be fine when it was dry. To me it looked as though the foils had leaked and the colour hand't been applied properly. Upon drying the colour still didn't look right. Not only that but I asked the girl to cut my fringe before she straightened it. To which she ignored, "straightened" it (curled it hugely) and Iended up with a wonky fringe, which I have had to cut myself. When I arrived home I called the salon and spoke to the manager who said she would discuss it with the person who did my hair and call me back. When she didn't call back for a couple of hours I called back and insisted I was booked in for a correction with the only other stylist in the salon who has more experience. She was on holiday for 2 weeks and I would have to wait until then to have it reviewed. I was later called back my a manager who left a message on my voicemail advising if I wanted it corrected I would have to pay for it myself!!! Unbelievable! She hadn't even seen the state of my hair and insisted that this was what I had asked for. There was no way I would ask for ginger patchy hair when I specifically wanted blonde streaks. The way she spoke to me was disgusting and what happened to the customer is always right?! 01-10-12
