The George London Reviews

By George.... - A very pleasant pub right next to Liverpool Street, so very handy for those of us who travel to East Anglia. This pub never seems to get too packed either at lunchtime or in the evenings so is fine for a good drink and a chat. Perhaps the high ceilings add to the feeling of space. The food is also good, serving the same menu as the hotel next door and the service is quick.

An alright station pub for once... - THis place is just around the corner from Liverpool St station and actually part of a hotel complex next door. Unlike most station boozers though, this one is actually rather nice. There was a huge screen on for the footie, lots of seating, v friendly staff, not too pricey drinks and food options in the next door hotel if you so wished. If you're waiting for a train there are much worse places you could go than here!
